Kleen-Print® No-Mess Disposable Footprinter

I used to use the rigid footprinter. I could get only one set of footprints and spent a lot of time cleaning baby's feet. With this product, I can get 2-3 sets from each item, so it is more economical, and I no longer need to clean feet. I understand the negative reviews. I was not happy with this product until I ordered a full box. We used to have clients order singles in their birth kit, and the ink transferred to the paper used to do the packing, making them unusable for footprints. Now I absolutely love it!

I have used the Kleenprint product before, and it worked just fine for the scrapbook page. This one, however, arrived with the ink all smeared on its packaging paper. It was completely unusable. : ( Super bummed. Baby is already older and I am looking elsewhere online to order one that will (hopefully) arrive in usable condition. More care in shipping this product should be taken. As I recall, the other web site used 2 pieces of cardboard slightly larger than the Kleenprint envelope (presumably cut from an old box laying around) and rubber banded it around the envelope to protect it in the shipping process. Perhaps this shipping issue is why there are mixed reviews on this site?

This footprinter makes the process of getting newborn footprints easy, and leaves no ink on the newborn's feet. You have to be sure to press the foot down well, esp. the toes, and have to be careful not to press anywhere else on the ink pad. But, once you get comfortable with that, it is an effective and neat foot printer.

Love these! I bought 2 this time around, because after my first child, I wore the other one out creating gifts for grandparents and godparents :)

There is a learning curve for using these. I use them all the time in my practice and have never had an issue. If you have never used one, maybe order an extra printer and birth certificate in case you mess up. There is a specific way to do it so that it comes out perfect every time.

I ordered this to use instead of a standard unload, to keep our son's feet clean of ink, but it was very disappointing. The ink did not transfer to the paper well and was very light.

This product does not work well at all. You are better off getting a large stamp pad. I feel sad that I have messed up my beautiful birth certificate because of this footprinter. Deluxe it is not.
