Soothing!
Witch hazel has been one of my go-to post-partum soothers since having my first baby. With my third, my midwife suggested I soak pads in the witch hazel and freeze them for "padsicles" and they worked very well. I ordered my birth kit for baby #4 recently and froze my pads with witch hazel last night. This bottle had just the right amount to soak 12 pads (also ordered from this site). I ordered an extra bottle, too, because I like to keep witch hazel on-hand for skin abrasions and first aid.

Great for padsicles!
This witch hazel worked well with comfrey leaf to make padsicles for after birth. It also worked well with hemorrhoids after birth.
