Generic water birth tub liner for birth pools.

  • Available by the each or pack of 5 (Save $1.40/liner!)
  • Made of food grade plastic
  • Polyvinyl Liner.  Contains no phthalates, lead, cadmium or latex.
  • 4 ml thick
  • Double sealed seams prevents leaks
  • Latex free
  • Dimensions: 115" x 80"

This liner fits baggier than a custom fit liner.  Once water is added to pool the additional plastic is less noticeable.  This is not a custom liner and will not fit any of these pools with the tight, custom fit you would achieve with a custom liner.

This liner will cover all of the following pools

  • AquaDoula
  • La Bassine
  • La Bassine Maxi
  • Birth Pool in A Box Mini (See warranty information below)
  • Birth Pool in A Box Regular (See warranty information below)

If you are using this liner with a La Bassine Pool or Birth Pool in a Box MINI size be advised that there will be a fair amount of excess plastic due to the wide variety of pools this liner is made to accommodate.

The warranty on all Birth Pool in a Box pools is valid only if a new Birth Pool in a Box liner is used each time.  The 40 use manufacturer warranty on Birth Pool in a Box Pro Pools is valid only if a Birth Pool in a Box liner is used each time.

Birth Pool in a Box does not recommend using any generic liner on their Birth Pools - it will not give a secure, tight, custom fit and may not be watertight, undermining the integrity of the Birth Pool in a Box system. To ensure the highest quality water birth experience, Birth Pool in a Box recommends you order the Regular or Mini custom Birth Pool in a Box Liner.

    Generic Pool Liner Review

Posted by Patricia Ghaly, CPM, LM on 20th Feb 2015

I've been using the generic pool liners for the last 3 years for waterbirths at my birth center. Overall, for the price, they do the job adequately. However, we have had issues with leakage more often than expected. It's also very bulky which can make cleanup a challenge. We use them because they are signiificantly more cost effective than the fitted liners. When we have had issues, however, In His Hands has been very courteous and prompt in trying to resolve the issue. They don't manufacture the product and there are no other alternatives in the market so they have no option but to carry these. We enjoy doing business with IHH and do so whenever possible.

Leaks at least half the time

These liners constantly have seal problems or leaks. At least 60% of the time we end up needed to disinfect the tub after draining it. There is constantly a problem, in fact when there isn't one we do the dry tub celebration dance.
Why do I buy this liner then? Because it's half the price of other ones and it does catch all of the yucky stuff to throw away when drained.

It's better than no liner but I wish it actually worked.
