    Christian Midwifery by Betty Peckman

With its thorough coverage of home birth and midwifery, we found this a valuable resource from the parents' perspective (that is why we bought it). As of 2018, her list of resources is outdated--things change quickly, I guess, and this isn't the author's fault. My main concern and the reason I can't give this a 5-star review is the strong emphasis on homeopathy. This is woven throughout the book so thoroughly that it is almost impossible to edit it all out. I would have not bought the book had I realized this. Careful research has convinced me that homeopathy can work very well, but that it works by an occult power that cannot be explained by either scientific or Biblical means. You may or may not share my convictions, but please do be aware of this if you are considering purchasing this book.
